Tehran, April 18 /Xinhua/ — Iran has partially opened its airspace and resumed operations at some airports on Saturday. This was reported by the country’s Civil Aviation Administration.
According to the department’s statement, the eastern part of Iran’s airspace is open for international flights, as well as the operation of some airports has been resumed from 07:00 local time /03:30 GMT/.
Air traffic at Iranian airports will gradually return to normal operation as soon as the country’s military and civilian authorities complete technical and operational preparations.
On February 28, Iran closed its airspace following the start of joint attacks by the United States and Israel. -0-
