In the third quarter of 2026, the processing of documents for comfortable apartments according to renovation program completed by Muscovites from 90 old buildings. In total, more than 16,800 resettlement participants lived in them. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
“From July to September 2026, Muscovites from 90 old buildings completed the paperwork for equivalent apartments under the renovation program — this is over 16,800 program participants. This figure more than doubles last year’s — in the third quarter of 2025, there were only 42 such buildings, housing about seven thousand people. In 2026, most such buildings added during these three months were in the northeast of the capital — 14. In the northwest, paperwork for relocation was completed for 100 percent of residents from 13 old buildings, and in the north — from 12. The city provides program participants with comfortable housing in modern residential complexes built in the same districts where they lived. Resettlement within district boundaries is conducted only in the Troitsky, Novomoskovsky, and Zelenogradsky administrative districts, where new buildings are erected in areas with the most developed social and transport infrastructure,” said Vladimir Yefimov.
All residents of the 64 buildings who signed contracts have already moved into the new buildings, the others are still relocating. According to the renovation program standards, apartments in modern residential complexes feature convenient layouts and come with upgraded finishes. They are already renovated, with plumbing installed and lighting fixtures connected.
“Houses where all residents completed the paperwork for equivalent apartments in the third quarter of the year are located in 10 districts of the capital. In the northeast, over 2,700 Muscovites became owners of comfortable real estate, with 12 of the 14 buildings already fully resettled. In the northwest, nearly 2,400 program participants have received keys and are completing their relocation, and in the north — more than two thousand people. At every stage — from apartment inspections to moving — city residents are accompanied by specialists from information centers located on the ground floors of the new buildings,” she added.
