Three plots of land are up for auction in special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow” for the construction of industrial and public-business facilities. The lots are targeted at investors planning to open high-tech enterprises in the fields of pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, medical industry, and business management. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maxim Liksutov.
“By the decision of Sergey Sobyanin, the capital will reorganize the territories of former industrial zones where residential microdistricts and industrial sites with new jobs are being created. The Moscow Special Economic Zone, which today covers more than 430 hectares, offers investors three parcels for the construction of public-business and production complexes. Two of them are being implemented as part of the comprehensive development of the ‘Yuzhny Port’ industrial zone — one of the largest redevelopment sites in Europe. High-tech productions will operate here, and well-maintained public and industrial spaces will appear,” noted Maxim Liksutov.
Investment offers are posted on the website torgi.mos.ru. Three lots are being sold on the Pechatniki site. They involve the construction of public complexes for scientific research activities with an area of 65.7 thousand and 60 thousand square meters, as well as a leisure complex with an area of more than 20 thousand square meters.
The application period for participation in the auctions will end on November 2, and the auctions will take place on November 9 on the electronic platform “Roseltorg”. The organizer of the auctions is Department of the City of Moscow for Competitive Policy.
The transport hub in this area is of particular importance for the development of the territory. Near the industrial zone “South Port” there are stations Big Ring Line, Moscow Central Circle and the second Moscow Central Diameter, as well as takes place Moscow High-Speed Diameter.
The SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, it has transformed from a launchpad for innovative projects into a key hub of domestic industry and an attractive location for companies defining Russia’s technological sovereignty. Today, on 10 sites with a total area of 430 hectares, production is localized for more than 250 high-tech enterprises representing such strategic directions as microelectronics, instrument engineering, biomedicine, information technology, and robotics. The development of the special economic zone is managed by the capital city Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
