Kyiv, April 18 /Xin Hua/ — On Saturday, an unknown man opened fire in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, reported the mayor of the city Vitali Klitschko in the “Telegram”.
According to him, at least two people died as a result of the incident. Another ten people, including a child, were injured and hospitalized.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klimenko, reported that a criminal burst into a store, took people hostage, and opened fire on the police officers who arrived at the scene of the incident. The shooter was killed during the arrest.
