On October 15, Vladimir Stroev, the rector of the State University of Management, took part in the forum-congress of the all-Russian public organization “Business Russia.” The forum was held in Moscow and was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the association. Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the participants via video link from the Kremlin’s situational center.

The head of state congratulated the organization on its anniversary. He called “Delovaya Rossiya” one of the leading and most respected business associations in the country, which over a quarter of a century has united growing businesses in almost all industries.

In his speech, the President noted that Russia faces the task of launching a new investment cycle, increasing investments in innovative companies, as well as in industrial, logistics, creative, tourism, and other projects. Vladimir Putin recalled the formula: “A strong, sovereign country is the key to strong and competitive business.”

According to the President, the leading role in this work belongs to business, and the state will continue to support it.

“The domestic entrepreneurial class has become an active, engaged part of Russian civil society,” Vladimir Putin stated. According to him, the new investment cycle that our country is entering, the next stages of financial market development, as well as the country’s aspiration for technological leadership—all these tasks require a new generation of managers.

“The State University of Management traditionally prepares strong managerial personnel: our graduates hold responsible positions in the country’s government, regional administrations, and industry. Understanding the importance of this work today, we are ready to modernize these programs and strengthen the practical orientation of training together with the business community,” noted Vladimir Stroev.

“Delovaya Rossiya” is a Russian public organization that protects the interests of entrepreneurs operating in the non-raw-material sector of the economy. It unites more than 10,000 entrepreneurs. The State University of Management actively cooperates with “Delovaya Rossiya”: joint projects are being implemented to develop students’ entrepreneurial competencies, and joint programs are being launched. At the Higher School of Business and Technology of the State University of Management, there is a “Delovaya Rossiya” basic department that coordinates joint projects and provides support in the field of business education and management.
