From January to September 2026, more than six thousand parking spaces were sold at Moscow’s auctions across various city districts. Available for purchase are spaces both in underground and aboveground parking lots. This was reported by the head of the Moscow City Department for Competitive Policy. Kirill Purtev.
“For car owners, it is important to have a permanent parking spot near their home or workplace. Residents can select a suitable property and purchase it through open auctions. In the first three quarters of 2026, the city sold 6,182 parking spaces at auction. On average, three participants competed for each lot. The leaders in terms of the number of sold properties were the Northern, Eastern, North-Eastern, South-Eastern, and Western administrative districts. They accounted for about 73 percent of the parking spaces. At the same time, almost 98 percent of the total number consisted of spaces in underground parking garages,” noted Kirill Purtov.
Open auctions are held on the online platform “Roseltorg”. Registration on the platform and an enhanced qualified electronic signature are required to participate.
