Library No. 9 named after N.V. Gogol invites you to a meeting with the writer, screenwriter, playwright, poet, author of more than 80 prose books, and literary award laureate Yulia Lavryashina.
Guests will hear a story about the creative journey in literature and cinema and will see the presentation of the 13th book in the series of psychological novels — “City of Hope.” The characters of the novel are people who have devoted their lives to the author’s song. The story shows the same characters in different time layers: in our days and in the era of the Inquisition. This is a novel about a second chance, healing of the soul, and the power of love.
The presentation will feature actors from the Youth Theatre “Blue Bird”, writers, and performers. At the end, you can ask questions and get an autograph.
