In Naberezhnye Chelny, 40 tank trucks on the KAMAZ-43118 chassis were handed over to PJSC NK Rosneft under an operational lease scheme.
The first delivery of automotive equipment was made under the cooperation agreement signed in June 2026 between PJSC KAMAZ and PJSC NK Rosneft at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The special equipment delivered to LLC “RN-Transport”, Rosneft’s key transport operator, contributes to the formation of a specialized fleet of tank trucks adapted to the tasks of oil transportation logistics. The operational lease format allows for flexible scaling of the fleet according to seasonal and project loads without capital investments in the acquisition of equipment.
Expanding the fleet capacity is part of the systematic work to ensure the transport readiness of Rosneft’s enterprises. This will allow RN-Transport to promptly deploy equipment to sites, ensure standardized maintenance, and predict operating costs.
Within the framework of the agreement, the parties plan to scale up supplies and expand the range of equipment.
The leader of Russian freight engineering is developing alternative sales channels and cooperation formats with major industrial customers. One of these tools is operational leasing. Clients have access not only to traditional supply and leasing schemes but also to flexible rental models that allow for efficient management of the equipment fleet.
“Leasing automotive equipment is not only about strengthening current partnership ties but also about creating a new sales channel that enhances the resilience of KAMAZ’s business. For the customer, this approach solves several tasks at once: rapid fleet expansion for peak loads, reduction of capital expenditures, and shifting some operational risks to the lessor. Operational leasing is a tool that meets the need for equipment here and now while preserving long-term economic efficiency for both parties.” – commented General Director of JSC “Trading and Financial Company “KAMAZ” Andrey Kozhevnikov.
In the future, the company plans to scale the rental model to other market segments, including construction, mining, and logistics enterprises. The development of the rental fleet and the standardization of service processes will enable KAMAZ to strengthen its reputation as a reliable industrial partner capable of offering a full range of solutions – from supply to comprehensive fleet management.
