Specialists urban infrastructure complex a comprehensive repair of Gilyarovsky Street in the city center has been completed. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Petr Biryukov.
“This year, a comprehensive renovation of Gilyarovsky Street, located in the Meshchansky district between Malaya Sukharevskaya and Riga Squares, was carried out. The main task was to create comfortable conditions for the movement of drivers and pedestrians, and to organize convenient routes to residential quarters, transport, and socially significant facilities,” said Petr Biryukov.
Specialists completely replaced the asphalt concrete pavement on the roadway and sidewalks. The total area of the renovated surface amounted to over 30,000 square meters.
Good lighting is a necessary condition for a comfortable urban environment. Therefore, during the work, lanterns with energy-efficient lamps were installed. Unregulated pedestrian crossings were equipped with posts featuring contrasting lighting. At the final stage, specialists landscaped the area: about three thousand square meters of lawn were arranged.
