Completed comprehensive landscaping Entuziastov Highway — one of the capital’s most important outbound highways. This was reported by Sergey Sobyanin on his channel in in the messenger “Max”.
The highway connects Perovo, Novogireevo, and Ivanovskoe with the districts of Sokolinnaya Gora, Lefortovo, and the center of Moscow. The length of the highway is 8.6 kilometers, covering an area of almost 60 hectares.
“We have made the area near Entuziastov Highway more comfortable and modern. We buried power lines over 40 kilometers long underground. We laid an additional drainage system. To optimize pedestrian and traffic flows, we changed the geometry of the streets in several sections,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

In addition, the pavement of sidewalks and the roadway was renewed — the total area of work amounts to more than 450 thousand square meters. 580 modern energy-saving lamps and street lamps were installed, and at pedestrian crossings — 42 supports with contrast lighting, which make the zebra crossing and pedestrians on it more visible.
Modern city transport stops have been arranged: along tram line Elevated boarding platforms with pavilions have appeared. Here, two dedicated lanes for 11 surface transport routes will also be introduced — this will help bus and trolleybus passengers save travel time.
“We have installed over 250 small architectural forms — benches, street chairs, swings, trash bins. We have planted more than 165,000 square meters of lawn, and in the autumn we will plant over 800 large-sized trees,” added Sergey Sobyanin.
Three squares were renovated — near building 5, structure 1, building 56a, structure 1, and building 68 on Entuziastov Highway. Paths were repaired, lamps, street floor lamps, and benches were installed, and lawns were laid. The courtyard area near buildings 94–100 on Entuziastov Highway was improved.
In addition, the reconstruction of the Gorbaty, Vladimirskiy, and Dangaewer overpasses located on Entuziastov Highway is underway. During the work, the beams of the span structures will be replaced, a new bridge deck will be installed, the power supply and communication networks will be rearranged, and tram tracks will be repaired.
