A batch of five flagship next-generation K5 semi-trailer tractors has been delivered to a large federal confectionery company.
The supplier of high-tech KAMAZ-54901 tractors was the official KAMAZ dealer – the company “SEVER SCAN.” The client plans to use the vehicles to deliver products to the regions.
The KAMAZ-54901 highway tractor embodies the advanced developments of KAMAZ engineers aimed at meeting the demands of the most discerning consumers. This model is especially in demand in the Russian logistics services market. The demand for the K5 flagship from carriers is due to its high operational and consumer properties.
The vehicle is equipped with a new KAMAZ-910.52-460 engine (Euro-5) with a displacement of 13 liters, a power of 483 hp, and a torque of 2403 Nm. The use of modern high-tech design solutions made it possible to increase the maintenance interval to 120,000 km and the engine’s service life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to vehicles of the previous generation. The KAMAZ-54901 tractor is equipped with a new 12-speed automated transmission that has a low noise level and high efficiency, which helped reduce fuel consumption.
The client chose this particular model after a thorough comparative analysis, extended test drives of the KAMAZ-54901 tractor, and familiarity with the KAMAZ facilities where the flagship model of the K5 series is produced. The transaction was conducted under a trade-in program: the old vehicle equipment was accepted as part of the payment for the new KAMAZ K5 generation vehicles. This allowed for fleet renewal with minimal costs and no downtime – the old equipment left the fleet, and the new long-haul tractors went into service.
