Beijing, April 17 /Xinhua/ – The official representative of the Eastern Theater Command of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA), Xu Qianwu, on Friday condemned the passage of the Japanese destroyer “Ikadzuchi” through the Taiwan Strait, stating that it sends wrong signals to Taiwanese separatist forces.
As Sui Chenhua indicated in the press release, the PLA Navy and Air Force mobilized their forces to track and observe the ship throughout its journey through the Taiwan Strait, thereby ensuring the most effective control and management of the situation.
