The First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Denis Manturov made a working trip to the Orenburg region, where he visited a number of leading industrial enterprises, familiarized himself with the products of local manufacturers, and held a meeting with the region’s governor Yevgeny Solntsev.

At the “Drilling Equipment Plant,” Denis Manturov was presented with the first all-Russian self-propelled drilling rig, fully developed by domestic engineers and designed for drilling and geological exploration of solid minerals at depths of up to 3 thousand meters. The enterprise produces equipment equipped with systems that allow effective digitalization of geological exploration indicators and correlating them with the financial result of the project.

A key element of the factory’s engineering potential is the unique “Granit” testing stand — the first complex in the country capable of modeling real drilling processes. Measures of state support, including the industrial mortgage mechanism, have allowed the enterprise to carry out major repairs and reconstruction of the buildings. Thanks to concessional loans from the federal and regional Industrial Development Funds, more than 20 units of high-tech equipment worth 1 billion rubles have been acquired, and a robotic workshop for the production of universal steel drill pipes has been launched. The brand’s products comply with international and national standards and meet high consumer requirements.

Denis Manturov also visited the production of equipment for the food industry at “OK-Engineering.” The enterprise presented to the First Deputy Prime Minister new samples of high-performance equipment of its own design for the meat processing industry under the trademark “Orenklip.” Since 2022, within the framework of the federal and regional FRP programs, more than 300 million rubles have been allocated to the enterprise for the development of serial production of automated and robotic equipment, including at the OEZ “Orenburg.”For the further development of the territory, the creation of the industrial technopark “Pobeda” is underway.

In the OK-Engineering plan, the mastering of new types of equipment, the launch of primary processing lines, as well as the production of semi-finished products, ready-made meat products, and packaging solutions for large meat processing enterprises.

“The processing industry of the Orenburg region is represented by enterprises of various sectors, from food and oil and gas engineering to the defense-industrial complex. Today we discussed how the region should develop further and in which directions. It is necessary to expand the industrial infrastructure by creating a network of industrial parks. We are ready to provide support from the federal government side, we are waiting for your initiatives,” noted Denis Manturov at a meeting with the governor of the region.

“Despite economic difficulties, enterprises in the Orenburg region continue their rapid development. Significant support in this comes from the federal center, the Industrial Development Fund. Today, Orenburg is strengthening its positions in processing and in the development of unmanned aviation systems. This proves the effectiveness of the state program,” said Evgeny Solntsev.

Together with the governor, the first vice-premier inspected the exhibition of products from industrial manufacturers of the Orenburg region.

The region is actively participating in the implementation of national technological leadership projects. Within the framework of the national project “Unmanned Aviation Systems,” a scientific-production center “BAS” has been opened in Orenburg. New developments are already being used in the fuel-energy complex and forestry. In the future, it is planned to expand their application in agriculture, construction, and control-supervisory activities.

In addition, 67 enterprises of the Orenburg region are participants in the federal project to increase labor productivity; by 2026, another 7 will join them. On average, a reduction in production process time of 37% has been achieved, and the volume of work-in-progress production decreased by 40%. The economic effect of participating in the project over 6 years amounted to 2.5 billion rubles.
