The total volume of deals being discussed by participants of the seventh Moscow Fashion Week already amounts to almost 350 million rubles. In addition, the event organizer — the Fashion Fund — has agreed on cooperation with industry associations from four countries. This was reported by Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

“International agreements have been signed with partners from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kenya, and Bangladesh. Thanks to them, Russian designers will present their collections in these countries,” said Natalia Sergunina.

As part of agreements reached in previous seasons, domestic designers will go to India and Spain by the end of 2026. Trips to China and Armenia are planned for next year.

International screenings and support for local brands

The Seventh Fashion Week took place from September 26 to October 1. It was attended by more than 65 thousand people. It brought together brands from 12 foreign countries and 24 regions of Russia, including cities such as Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk, Ulan-Ude, and Yakutsk.

The shows were conducted not only by professionals but also by about 100 students from the Institute of Arts of the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University, the National Institute of Design, and other specialized educational institutions. In total, nearly two thousand models showcased over three thousand looks to the audience.

For everyone interested, there was a venue with a market and showroom, organized together with the “Made in Moscow” project. Its assortment included clothing, footwear, and accessories from 96 Russian companies, more than 60 of which are based in the capital. Thanks to this city program, local brands presented their original collections, and their additional turnover exceeded 33 million rubles.

Film fans traditionally awaited the World Fashion Shorts short film festival. There, one could watch 56 films about fashion by domestic and foreign directors.

The international program was supplemented the fourth BRICS+ Fashion Summit. He brought in experts from Russia and over 60 other countries — from Brazil, China, and Mexico to India and Malaysia. The key topic was the impact of global economic, social, and technological transformations on the fashion industry.

The forum’s business sessions were dedicated to new trends in the international market, attracting investments, the role of folk crafts in the design industry, youth preferences and the use of artificial intelligence, as well as technological materials.
