Project “Youth of Moscow» invites city residents aged 18 to 25 to participate in group testing of the updated device for neurocareer guidance “Brainy.” Registration is open until October 17 in the “Youth of Moscow” group on the social network “VKontakte”.

“We live in an era when choosing a profession is no longer a lifelong decision: career paths change, new fields emerge, and young people need clear guidelines. Our task is to help each participant listen to themselves, understand their strengths, and take a conscious step into the future. Such innovative approaches are the future of career guidance,” noted Margarita Savinkina, project leader of “Youth of Moscow.”

The procedure will take 50 minutes. Young people will be asked to wear a special device that reads brain activity and complete a series of tasks. The headset will record attention reactions, levels of fatigue and tension — these indicators will be taken into account when calculating the final profile.

The new version of the device has become more ergonomic and quicker to adjust to a specific person, while the enhanced heart rate sensor and wireless connection allow for comfortable diagnostics even in a group setting.

At the end, each participant will receive a personal report describing their strengths and weaknesses, as well as recommendations for choosing professional directions and educational trajectories. The assessment will help young people better understand themselves. Each will see in which tasks they are strong, how they handle workload, and what comes easiest to them. Ultimately, it will be possible to choose a profession based on objective results rather than on advice from others or salary rankings.

The creators of “Brainy” will collect feedback from users: participants will answer questions about how comfortable the headset was, how clear the instructions were, and what remained unclear in the report. This data will be sent to the development team and taken into account in future versions of the device and diagnostic scenario.

The basis of the method is a career guidance test “four in one”: it assesses interests, inclinations toward various types of activities, intellectual potential, and characteristics of the nervous system. The technology analyzes more than 15 biological parameters: brain productivity when solving different tasks, the rate of fatigue accumulation, zones of optimal concentration, engagement, stress level, and the ability to switch.

The testing will take place on October 19 at the multi-format space “Youth of Moscow. Zvyozdny” on Vernadsky Avenue. On this day, city residents aged 18 to 25 are expected, but all capital residents aged 14 to 35 can participate in neuro-professional orientation — for this, it is necessary to register and undergo individual diagnostics. This testing is popular — more than 350 people have already participated. The neuro-professional orientation method will be useful for various categories of city residents: senior school students, university applicants, as well as adult Muscovites wishing to change their profession.

The “Career” direction of the “Moscow Youth” project helps city residents receive career counseling, determine a professional trajectory, create a strong resume, and prepare for an interview.

Even more opportunities for young Muscovites — on project pages on social networks.

“Opportunities for Youth 3.0” is a modern ecosystem of measures aimed at creating conditions for the self-realization of young people. It allows participation in the development of advanced solutions, trying one’s hand at scientific work, public service, and international cooperation.

The support program is implemented within the framework of the national project “Youth and children”. It helps to master a sought-after profession and start a career, receive a grant, and launch own project, to go to themed trip across the country, and also allows to engage in science at leading universities and develop projects from the first year.
