In the first nine months of 2026, more than 800 business premises were sold at city auctions. Their total area exceeded 100 thousand square meters. This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, head of the capital’s Department of Economic Policy and City Development.

“Non-residential premises remain one of the most in-demand types of property by businesses and citizens that the city puts up for auction. In the first nine months of 2026, Moscow sold 818 non-residential premises at auctions for sale and lease, with a total area exceeding 100 thousand square meters. On average, five participants competed for one lot during the bidding. Compact properties located on the ground floors and in basements traditionally enjoy high demand. Most of them have a free designation and can be used for shops, service enterprises, offices, medical, educational, and other organizations. Over 60 percent of the lots sold were premises with an area of up to 100 square meters. About 30 percent of the properties sold or leased by the city are located in the Northern Administrative Okrug, with 11 percent each located in the Western and Eastern Okrugs,” noted Maria Bagreeva.

The capital auctions various properties: non-residential premises, buildings, parking spaces, land plots, and other objects. You can see the full list of current lots on the website torgi.mos.ru. “Trading statistics for the first three quarters of this year confirm an already established trend. Entrepreneurs choose premises located in places with heavy pedestrian traffic, which contributes to attracting visitors. Both legal entities and individuals, including individual entrepreneurs, can participate in the auctions. The procedure takes place online and does not require a site visit, and the city’s digital infrastructure created for trading allows you to select an object based on key parameters: area, location in a particular district or region, floor, proximity to metro stations, starting price, and others,” said the head of the city’s Department of Competitive Policy.
