The number of high-tech enterprises that have placed productions on the territory special economic zone The number of resident companies in the (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow” has exceeded 250. Of these, 131 companies have resident status. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maxim Liksutov.
“By the order of Sergey Sobyanin, the city is creating all conditions for the development of high-tech industries. Today, the SEZ ‘Technopolis Moscow’ is a key hub of domestic industry, where companies from the fields of microelectronics, instrument making, biomedicine, robotics, and other high-tech sectors operate. Since the beginning of 2026 alone, several unique productions have been launched here, including the largest disinfectant equipment plant in Russia of our own design, the country’s first robotic line for manufacturing LCDs, and the production of high-speed optical transceivers,” noted Maxim Liksutov.
This year, a full-cycle power electronics manufacturing enterprise was opened in the territory of the SEZ. The production chain of this project is entirely concentrated in Russia. The innovative industrial complex “Element-Technologies,” with an area of over 7.7 thousand square meters, is equipped with wave soldering, sealing equipment, automated surface-mount and through-hole assembly lines, as well as assembly, firmware, and testing lines for power electronics. The enterprise’s products meet global standards and modern industry requirements.
In the capital, they have also established serial production of high-speed optical transceivers based on photonic integrated circuits. These are produced by the company “Neoros.” The devices provide data transmission speeds of up to 800 gigabits per second and are used by telecom operators, banks, and data centers. The enterprise implements the full technological cycle — from development to the release of finished products.
In addition, the first robotic production line for liquid crystal display modules in Russia was opened in the SEZ. The project was implemented by the company “Nex-T.” Seven robotic complexes were installed in an area of 1.9 thousand square meters. The clean room meets ISO-6 class standards. The line will be able to produce about 500,000 units per year, which will cover approximately half of the market demand in the Central Federal District.
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin announced that on the eve of Moscow Industry Day, the first in the country opened in the capital battery cluster. The largest energy storage systems production in Russia has been located in the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow.” After reaching the design capacity, two factories will be able to produce up to 33 million battery cells per year. The enterprises will create more than 2,100 high-tech jobs.
In 2026, the special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow” will celebrate its 20th anniversary since its founding. Over this time, it has become a center for the development of domestic industry. Today, on 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of 430 hectares, high-tech enterprises operate in strategic sectors such as microelectronics, instrument engineering, biomedicine, information technology, and robotics.
Moscow continues to develop industrial infrastructure for high-tech enterprises. Thanks to city support measures, companies are expanding production and launching new projects. This work contributes to the implementation of the national project. “Effective and Competitive Economy”.
