Denis Manturov held a working meeting with the Acting Head of Udmurtia, Olga Abramova.
First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov met with the acting head of the Udmurt Republic Olga Abramova and discussed the development of the region’s industry with her.
Today, Udmurtia ranks second in the Volga Federal District by industrial production index and first in the manufacturing sector (its share in the total production volume amounted to 70.8%).
The meeting discussed the development of cooperation between the regional and federal industrial development funds. Thanks to joint loans, major factories gain the opportunity to launch new important projects and modernize their production.
Denis Manturov and Olga Abramova also touched upon the topic of the development of the “Lada Izhevsk” plant. Last year, the company celebrated its 60th anniversary, and this year marks 60 years since the production of the first Izhevsk car.
In addition, Olga Abramova thanked Denis Manturov for his personal assistance and decisive involvement in the launch of the reconstruction of the Izhevsk–Votkinsk highway.
