During the strategic session on cooperation between science and business «Critical Technologies in Automotive Engineering», GUU presented advanced battery technologies.

The event took place at the MADI venue, which from October 8 to 9 transformed into the headquarters of Russian automotive science. Among those present were representatives of relevant ministries, universities, and the largest automotive companies in Russia.

Among the organizers: State Corporation “Rostec”, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, JSC “AvtoVAZ”, PJSC “KAMAZ”, MADI, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and Moscow Polytechnic.

What the GUU talked about

Representing the GUU were the head of the Laboratory of Digital and Intelligent Technologies for the Development of Russian Territories, Denis Serdechny, and the director of the Center for Management Competency Assessment and Development, Anton Velichko.

Denis Serdechny, the moderator of the ‘Prospective Energy Units for Transport Vehicles’ section, spoke about the features of energy storage devices for autonomous vehicles. Essentially, about what powers drones and electric transport.

The report has three main sections: GUU projects – autonomous transport, energy storage systems, management of complex cybernetic symptoms. Everything we do makes the machine smart and autonomous.

A separate discussion about multi-element rechargeable batteries as the primary power source for autonomous electric vehicles. Operational intricacies, nuances, pitfalls, and market prospects.

What’s the point of all this?

Participation of GUU in the strategic session is not a formal event, but a continuation of the university’s systematic work on developing competencies in the field of autonomous transport systems. The university sees prospects in the development of this direction and is already strengthening cooperation with leading industrial and scientific partners of the industry.
