On December 3, 2026, GUU will become a magnet for representatives of business, regions, the expert and educational community at the II All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Sustainable Management: Projects, People, Research”.
The key event of the year in the field of sustainable project management traditionally takes place at our country’s university within the framework of the National Competition “Formula of Sustainable Projects,” held annually by the Project Managers Association “Project Alliance” since 2020.
What will they discuss?
A detailed program will be published on the event website, but the main thematic areas of the conference are already known:
- Best business practices and challenges of sustainable project management;
- Sustainable project management in the higher education system;
- Application of sustainable project management at the level of state and municipal authorities;
- The contribution of non-profit organizations (NPOs) to sustainable development;
- Sustainable project management methodology: principles, approaches, methods, tools;
- Fostering a culture of conscious production and consumption through the implementation of sustainable projects;
- Horizons of project management development: regenerative, hybrid, neural network approaches.
Who can participate?
Leading scientists and practitioners, academic and teaching staff, as well as bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students under the scientific guidance of their mentors, can become part of the event.
To do this, it is necessary to register by October 31, 2026 (inclusive), and for speakers – to send materials in MS Word format to the email address: research@pmalliance.ru.
Publication of materials
The conference materials will be published in a collection and submitted for indexing in the RSCI. Authors of individual publications will be recommended to prepare articles for publication in the journals: “Project Management Bulletin,” “University Bulletin,” and “Management” according to the journals’ requirements.
