The textbook “Human Resource Management in the Modern Information and Communication Environment” was published by the Personnel Management Department of the State University of Management.
The classic textbook edited by the first head of the department, Doctor of Economics, Professor A. Ya. Kibanov, was for many years the go-to book for everyone studying HR, and now it has a worthy successor. The new textbook was written by the entire staff of the personnel management department, with the editor being the head of the department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Rafik Ashurbekov.
This is not a dry retelling of theory, but a vivid snapshot of the profession, taking into account the latest trends and market demands: how to create a strong HR brand, how to ensure employees are engaged in work and do not burn out, how new forms of employment are structured, and how to work with people in a digital environment. A separate chapter is devoted to what the HR specialist themselves must be able to do.
The textbook is primarily intended for undergraduates specializing in “Human Resource Management,” but it will also be useful for students of “Management” and “Public and Municipal Administration.” It will also be valuable for anyone who wants to understand how people are truly managed today, as it is based on real practice. The trends that have changed the HR world are now gathered under one cover.
