The project “Theater Code” was created in the capital for students. They will be able to master the basics of acting skills, stage movement, and speech technique. Participation is free, and the introductory session will take place on October 12.

“The program was prepared as part of the Moscow project ‘Student Parliamentary Clubs.’ It will last two and a half months and will help participants develop creative thinking and teamwork skills,” she noted

Marina Prozorova, Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Territorial Executive Authorities.

The first part of the program is dedicated to plasticity and stage movement. Participants will work on coordination, learn techniques for releasing muscle tension, and learn to interact with partners.

In the second block, students will study breathing techniques, perform diction and articulation exercises, and practice speech tempo, intonation, and pause placement. A separate focus will be on skills for confident presentation of material, including the ability to clearly formulate thoughts, maintain audience attention, and build communication with listeners.

The third module covers the basics of acting skills. Through exercises and stage sketches, participants will develop imagination and concentration, learn to analyze characters and motives, as well as master various ways of conveying emotions.

The fourth block is focused on improvisation. Students will have to act without a prepared script, quickly pick up partners’ ideas, find unconventional solutions, and adapt to changing conditions. Practical tasks are aimed at developing creative thinking and teamwork skills.

In the final stage, participants will develop their own performances and physical compositions, and at the end of the year they will present the final play. Classes will be held at the City Center for Professional and Career Development (Taganskaya Street, building 40–42).

“Student Parliamentary Clubs” unite students from 55 Moscow universities. Community members improve leadership skills, participate in legislative initiatives and volunteer projects, and also organize inter-university discussions and business games aimed at developing public speaking and strategic planning skills. To join the project, it is necessary to apply via official page in the social network “VKontakte.”
