On October 7, Moscow Industry Day, a solemn award ceremony for workers in the industrial sector was held in the capital. Honorary titles were received by employees of six companies in the radio-electronic, pharmaceutical, mechanical engineering, and food industries.
The industry leaders of Moscow in 2026 became 14 leading metropolitan manufacturers, among them residents of special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow.” This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.
“By the order of the Mayor of Moscow, on October 7 the capital annually celebrates Moscow Industry Day. Today, more than 767,000 people are employed in the industrial sector — that is every 10th working resident of the capital. It is precisely the personnel reserve that forms the foundation for growth, competitiveness, and prosperity not only of an individual industrial company but also of the city’s economy as a whole. As a tradition, we honor representatives of engineering and labor specialties for their dedication, many years of work, and contribution to the development of the industry. This year, honorary titles were awarded to employees of six capital enterprises. Among them are representatives of the pharmaceutical, radio-electronic, mechanical engineering, food, and other industries,” said Maksim Liksutov.
The title of “Honorary Worker of the Moscow City Industry” has been awarded to Irina Selivanova, a leading process engineer in precision etching at Micron JSC; Vladimir Kulabukhov, a sixth-grade turner at Mechanical Processing Shop No. 31 of NPO “GeliyMash” JSC; and Nadezhda Gusleva, an operator of the main production flow-automatic line at Ekstra M OJSC.
The same award was given to Tatiana Pavlova, head of the vivarium of the pharmacological laboratory at FSUE “Endopharm”; Ivan Volvakov, head of the software development department at the company “Ankad”; and Vladimir Chizhikov, head of the design bureau at PJSC “NPO ‘Nauka'”.
“Separately, every year we highlight the achievements of Moscow factories and high-tech enterprises that make a significant contribution to ensuring the technological sovereignty of the capital and the country as a whole. The laureates of the ‘Leaders of Moscow Industry’ award in 2026 included 14 companies, among them residents of the SEZ ‘Technopolis Moscow.’ Among them are leading manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, microelectronics and automobile manufacturing, players in the modular construction industry, machine tool building, and aviation industry,” emphasized the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
Winners were determined in seven categories: “The Most Efficient Industrial Enterprise in the Industry,” “The Most Efficient SEZ Resident,” “Export-Oriented Industrial Enterprise,” “The Largest Constructed Facility,” “Labor Productivity Growth,” “R&D Breakthrough,” and “Young Industrialist of the Year.” In addition, this year a special “Technological Breakthrough” award was also presented.
