Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin visited the Chechen Republic on a working trip, where he inspected a number of construction and reconstruction infrastructure projects.
“The Chechen Republic is one of the vivid examples of effectively organized regional work. The Republic regularly ranks among the leaders in key indicators of the implementation of state programs and national projects, maintaining high rates in the national project ‘Infrastructure for Life’. From January to August, about 1.3 million square meters of housing have been built here, with the annual plan fulfilled by more than 90%. High pace is maintained in road and transport activities. Everything we discussed over the past years has been implemented. It is visible how the region and its capital have improved in recent years: modern neighborhoods, roads, interchanges, bridges appear, infrastructure is updated. All this makes people’s lives more comfortable and creates a foundation for further economic development. I thank my colleagues for the coordinated work,” noted Marat Khusnullin.
During the trip, the Deputy Prime Minister inspected the construction of the Grozny (Northern) airport complex. The project is being implemented as part of the federal project “Development of the backbone network of aerodromes” within the national project “Efficient Transport System.” Construction readiness is over 70%.
Marat Khusnullin also inspected the reconstructed Aerovokzalnaya and Abuzar Aidamirov streets in Grozny, which were put into operation this year. He also reviewed the progress of the construction of the transport interchange on Nursultan Nazarbayev Street at the intersection with Staropromyslovskoye Highway. The work is being carried out in two stages: the first is completed, the second is planned until 2029.
