The Association of Cultural and Leisure Centers of the Western Administrative District (OKC WAD) will open a new branch of the club center “Novo-Peredelkino” on October 10. It is located at 2 Chobotovskaya Street, building 3, near the Novo-Peredelkino metro station. In the space of 650 square meters, creative, educational, and sports activities for children and adults will take place.

“The new space for activities and creativity on Chobotovskaya Street will become the 12th in the Novo-Peredelkino club center. Expanding the institution’s network will significantly diversify the leisure options for district residents and make it more comfortable due to modern infrastructure and service availability,” said Anastasia Gladysheva, director of the OKC ZAO.

A comprehensive renovation was carried out inside the premises. Interior finishing was done, plumbing was replaced, ventilation and air conditioning systems were installed, as well as new doors and modern lighting. The offices were equipped with desks, chairs, and magnetic marker boards. The dance hall was equipped with professional ballet barres, and the fitness room — with sports equipment. Additionally, a reception area and a cafeteria were arranged for visitors.

On the opening day from 12:00, guests will be welcomed with a tour of the new department and a presentation about its areas of work. An interactive program with creative workshops and face painting will also be prepared for everyone interested. In addition, parents will be able to immediately register their children for clubs and circles.

Thus, future first-graders from five to seven years old will be admitted to the “Preparation for School” studio, ballroom dance classes are for children aged four to 14, and the contemporary dance ensemble welcomes children from seven to 13 years old. The English language club accepts children from five to 15 years old, the visual arts club — from five to 12 years old, and young city residents aged six to 10 can enroll in “Calligraphy.”

Adults are also invited to yoga classes and the women’s dance club. Trial classes will be held in some areas.

The center’s classes are popular among Muscovites, and the new venues allow for the creation of additional leisure spaces. According to Anastasia Gladysheva, last year the club center “Novo-Peredelkino” organized more than 1,100 events, attracting over 40,000 participants.
