From December 2 to 5, the VI International Forum of Civic Participation #WeAreTogether will be held in Moscow at the National Center “Russia” venue. This year’s forum theme is “Change Code. The Power of Our Impact.” Registration is open on the website forum.wearetogether.rf.
“Over five years, the #WeAreTogether forum, which is now held within the framework of the national project ‘Youth and Children,’ has united more than 60 thousand volunteers, representatives of the nonprofit sector, and businesses. In December, it will gather the most active and socially responsible people from around the world for the sixth time. Registration is already underway. I invite everyone interested to participate! Together we will determine the further direction of the volunteer movement’s development and recognize projects that make a significant contribution to fulfilling the tasks set by our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
This year, the forum is expected to host about 10,000 participants. Among them are volunteers, including those from border regions, veterans of the special military operation, participants in humanitarian missions, representatives of NGOs, businesses, government bodies and educational institutions, international experts, opinion leaders, activists of the “Movement of the First” and finalists of the #WeAreTogether award.
“By order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, international youth events are held annually in our country. Very recently, at the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg, we welcomed 10,000 participants from 191 countries. In December, at the #WeTogether forum in Moscow, we expect representatives of the nonprofit sector, volunteering, and the business community — everyone who implements social projects in their countries, fostering a culture of mutual assistance on the principles of constructive work. Participants of the forum will discuss the development of volunteering and the formation of a culture of mutual help, how volunteering affects individuals and society, support measures for participants of the special military operation and their families, sum up the results of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, and also present successful Russian practices in the social sphere. Special attention will be paid to the topics of mentoring and intergenerational connections, cooperation between business and NGOs, ecology, and healthcare,” said the head of Rosmolodezh, Grigory Gurov.
A year ago, at the #WeAreTogether forum, by the order of the President of Russia, the International Association Dobro was established. It unites volunteer organizations and NGOs from the CIS countries, BRICS, and friendly states. The first online meeting of the association took place on March 20, 2026. On September 15, at the Global Volunteer Assembly, a package called the “Yekaterinburg Theses” was formed for the first update in 25 years of the Universal Declaration on Volunteering. The package is being submitted to the United Nations Volunteers Program.
“The forum is a place where the movement sums up the year. The #WeAreTogether headquarters operate in 89 regions, numbering over 3,500. Throughout the entire time, 1,224 humanitarian missions have been carried out, involving 15,370 volunteers. In the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the award introduced the category ‘The Power of Unity,’ and we will see its finalists at the forum. The program will begin before the forum itself: from November 4 to December 5, a ‘#WeAreTogether – Month of Good Deeds’ will take place in the regions. Kindness is a way of life,” emphasized Artem Metelev, head of the Dobro.RF ecosystem.
The key event of the forum is the awarding of the International #WeAreTogether Prize, which will take place on December 3rd. The sixth season of the prize, timed to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the UN International Year of Volunteers, received a record number of applications – over 60 thousand from 155 countries worldwide. More than 1,500 participants from all regions of Russia became winners of the regional stage, nearly 600 participants advanced to the semifinals. 99 participants reached the final: 81 in the national track and 18 in the international one.
Let us recall, until October 15 inclusive in the Max messenger A public vote is underway for the finalists of the national track. For the projects of the international track, voting is taking place for the first time on the dobro.org platform. From October 5 to 28, an honorary jury will conduct online presentations with the finalists. The final results will be formed taking into account the jury’s scores and additional points from the public vote.
The organizers of the forum are the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and Dobro.RF. The forum is held within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children.”
