At the Krasnokholmskaya Gallery, with a combined ticket, you can visit the exhibitions “Brain. The Art of Consciousness” and “Museum of Computing Technology.”
The project “Brain. The Art of Consciousness” is a space for dialogue among artists, scientists, and innovators about the future of humanity, technologies transforming societal life, cognitive biases, and consciousness aberrations. Artists raise questions about thought control, memory function, neurodegenerative changes, and also prototype consciousness processes in neural network entities.
The exhibition features media art, photography, neurotechnology art, interactive installations, games, texts, surveys, and interviews with scientists.
The “Computer Technology Museum” presents two unique private collections that allow tracing the history of computer technology development over the past several decades. The first collection, assembled in one of Moscow’s secondary schools, includes devices from the 1980s-1990s: early personal computers, game consoles, printers, arithmetic machines, calculators, monitors, typewriters, and radio equipment from domestic and foreign manufacturers. The second collection, formed since 2015, comprises more than 60 exhibits and is dedicated to the history of pocket computers — from programmable calculators of 1976 to modern smartphones.
