In Moscow, at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated the winners and prize-winners of the seventh season of the National Open Championship of Creative Competencies “ArtMasters.” He also presented the special “Great Masters” award to composer, producer, and People’s Artist of Russia Alexey Rybnikov.

“The ‘ArtMasters’ Championship is now in its seventh edition. During this time, it has gained significant importance. As our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin says, ‘ArtMasters’ helps you find work you love and realize your potential. This year, more than 30,000 applications were submitted across 32 competencies. This is a very serious contribution, because the creative industry requires at least 75,000 specialists like you annually, who set the standard for the whole country. By 2030, the share of the creative industry in the country’s GDP will grow by 6%. I sincerely thank and congratulate all participants, prize-winners, and champions of the competition. You, as role models, set standards that thousands of young people strive to follow,” Dmitry Chernyshenko noted.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this year, in addition to such interesting competencies as game design and sound engineering, new ones appeared in the championship – for example, prompt engineering.

“Prompt engineering helps to realize creative abilities, because no matter how powerful artificial intelligence is, it will never replace the phenomenon of the creator. Russia, as one of the leading countries in the field of artificial intelligence, must actively participate in this direction,” added the Deputy Prime Minister.

In conclusion, Dmitry Chernyshenko added that the participants of the “ArtMasters” championship set the bar for creative possibilities in Russia and overcome stereotypes.

Winners and prize-winners in individual competencies and team competitions in the field of “Theater” were announced during the event, as well as the laureates of the “Great Masters” award. Young professionals in creative professions, who passed three competition stages, received awards from the hands of outstanding industry representatives.

The winners were awarded cash certificates totaling 36 million rubles: 750,000 rubles for first place, 500,000 rubles for second, and 250,000 rubles for third. The certificates can be spent on educational purposes, purchasing professional equipment, implementing their own project, or an inspiring trip across Russia. Additionally, a winner was announced in each category for the “Audience Choice Award.”

It should be noted that the “ArtMasters” championship is the main competition for specialists in the creative industries in Russia, including the backstage and digital art fields. Since 2020, more than 180 thousand people have participated. The main theme of the seventh season of the competition is “The Power of Unity. Art That Unites.” This year, over 30 thousand applications were submitted, with 200 participants from 43 regions of Russia reaching the finals.
