In the northeast of the capital, a flyover is being built over the Yaroslavsky direction of the Moscow Railway (MZhD) and the adjacent street and road network. It will connect Malygin Street and Malyginsky Passage. The overall construction readiness of the facility exceeds 40 percent. “In the North-Eastern Administrative District, on the border between the Losinoostrovsky and Yaroslavsky districts, construction of an overpass 500 meters long is ongoing. The work is slightly ahead of schedule. Currently, road pavement is being laid and engineering communications are being installed — heating networks and communication networks, as well as stormwater drainage construction. Specialists are installing reinforcement frames for the overpass supports and are also mounting reinforced concrete beams for the span structure. In total, about six kilometers of roads are planned for construction and reconstruction. The overall completion of the entire project stands at 41 percent,” Vladimir Efimov said.
The new overpass will help reduce the load on Yeniseyskaya Street and the northern part of the Moscow Ring Road. Thanks to it, the transport accessibility of four districts of Moscow — Losinoostrovsky, Severny Medvedkovo, Babushkinsky, and Yaroslavsky — will noticeably improve.
“Currently, about 500 people are involved at the site, as well as more than 60 units of equipment. Completion of the construction and installation works is planned for 2028,” added the head of the Department of Construction of Transport and Engineering Infrastructure of the city of Moscow.
The capital’s construction quality standard is ensured by the systematic work of the specialists at “Kontrol Moskvy.” As clarified by the chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor Anton Slobodchikov, since October 2025, the agency’s inspectors have been monitoring the construction of the road structure at every stage. Three on-site inspections have already been conducted, during which specialists assessed how well the completed work complies with the approved project.
Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin spoke about the construction overpass above Schmitovsky Drive, which is more than 50 meters long.
