Within the framework of the Universiade among students of higher educational institutions of the Novosibirsk region, competitions in weightlifting were held, in which, for the first time, the team of NSU participated and took 4th place. Last year, only one of our studentsAlexander Burov(FF) competed in the personal event and won in the weight category over 100 kg. This year, his initiative was supported by the NGU powerlifting team under the guidance of a coachAleksandra Avgustinovich.
In the individual championship, our athletes won 3 medals:
1st place –Yakovleva Anna(FEN) andBurov Alexander(FF)
2nd place –Titenko Alina(IMMT)
