On September 28, the award ceremony for the laureates of the Moscow City Tourism Prize took place in the capital, timed to coincide with World Tourism Day. In 2026, nine professionals received this prestigious award, including hoteliers, heads of Moscow tour operators, and tour guides. Representatives of the tourism and hospitality industry were presented with certificates and lapel badges. In addition, they will receive a monetary reward.

In the category “For the implementation of educational youth and children’s tourism development programs in the city of Moscow,” Yulia Bril, General Director of LLC “Veseloe Puteshestvie,” won.
The general manager of the Monarch Moscow hotel, Mikhail Verichev, has been awarded in the category “For contribution to the development of tourism and hotel management in the city of Moscow.”

The award in the category “For contribution to the popularization of the city of Moscow in the domestic and global tourism markets” went to Alexander Musikhin, Deputy General Director of LLC “Tour Operator ‘Intourist'”. The best in the category “For contribution to the development of business tourism in the city of Moscow” was Galina Polishchuk, Managing Director of Corporate Business at LLC “Management Company ‘Ticket House'”.
Mikhail Smetnik, a guide-translator from LLC “Guides – Translators – Travel and Tourism,” received the award “For Contribution to the Popularization of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Capital and the Development of Excursion Activities in the City of Moscow.”
Elena Solovyova, a consultant in the development of tourist programs and the formation of tourism development strategy at LLC “TO ‘Rus'”, became a laureate in the nomination “For contribution to the development of domestic and inbound tourism, effective interregional cooperation in organizing sightseeing tours to Moscow.”
In the category “For contribution to the development of the capital’s tourist potential and the implementation of the author’s project ‘Walking around Moscow'”, the tour guide of LLC “Source” Evgeny Stepanov was awarded.
In the category “For Contribution to the Development of Business Tourism, Formation of a Positive Image of the City of Moscow in the Domestic and Global Tourism Markets,” Natalya Stolyarova, General Director of LLC “Rusmaice Event,” was awarded a prize.

The award is designed to recognize outstanding events and projects in the capital that significantly improve the quality of tourist infrastructure and services, as well as reveal the city’s potential through advanced digital solutions, new services, and offerings for travelers. Since 2004, a total of 164 laureates in the hospitality industry have received the award.
