Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated Russians on World Tourism Day. with a total value of 1.6 trillion rubles. Thanks to the program, more than 50 projects have already been put into operation in 27 regions – these are modern hotels, water parks, and ski resorts.
“One of the priority areas is the development of patriotic tourism. Speaking about it, our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin notes: ‘The main thing is that people acquire knowledge about the country, its culture, history, traditions, and a sense of involvement in the fate of the Motherland.’ New projects are being launched in Russia for this purpose. It is important that our heroes – the veterans of the special military operation – become the initiators and participants of these projects,” reported the Deputy Prime Minister.
In addition, popular science tourism is developing in Russia. It helps even more children and young people to think about a career in research and development, and adult travelers to once again feel pride in the country. About 110 routes have already been created in 35 regions as part of the Decade of Science and Technology.
