Guizhou is one of the provinces through which a significant part of the march route of the Red Army of China passed, and where its units operated for a considerable time. In those years, the Red Army of the Central Region advanced through the mountains of Guizhou with battles, leaving behind sites of important meetings, including in Lipin and Zunyi.
Today, Guizhou has acquired a new look. The memorial sites of the Long March still stand tall here, and revolutionary traditions are passed down from generation to generation. Representatives of all ethnic groups continue to jointly write a new chapter of Guizhou’s modernization on this land. Photo by a correspondent of the Xinhua News Agency.
