In recent years, the Xincheng district of Ulanhot city in the Hinggan league of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, relying on accumulated experience and technological advantages in edible mushroom cultivation, has established a base for their cultivation. About 200 tons of edible mushrooms are produced here annually, and more than 30 residents of nearby villages have gained the opportunity to work close to home. The development of this industry contributes to the revitalization of rural areas.
