In the Timiryazevsky district, as part of the major renovation program for the housing stock, four buildings on Dmitrovsky Lane and Dmitrovskoye Highway are being refurbished. To update the buildings, specialists from the Moscow urban economy complex are using the “wet facade” technology and fiber cement panels.
Dmitrovsky Drive, building 20, blocks 1 and 2
Major repairs are underway in two 25-story buildings at the addresses: Dmitrovsky proezd, building 20, blocks 1 and 2. They were built in 1989 and 1990 according to an individual project. The buildings have a simple shape, while their facades have complex plasticity without decorative elements.
They use the “wet facade” technology here. Experts have already cleared and washed the walls, primed the surfaces, and installed brackets for air conditioners and their baskets. Currently, the buildings are being insulated with mineral wool. Then a base layer of plaster will be applied and a fiberglass mesh installed. After that, the surfaces will be covered with a decorative layer of plaster and painted in the colors “gray marble” and “signal white.” At the same time, the baskets for the air conditioners will be installed.
Metal cassette screens will be installed on the balconies. The craftsmen are refurbishing the entrance areas, plinths, and blind areas, and modern double-glazed windows are being installed in common areas. In addition, roofs and basements are being repaired, and the main pipelines for central heating, sewage, cold and hot water supply are being replaced.
Dmitrovskoye Highway, building 33, blocks 4 and 5
Two more buildings are being renovated on Dmitrovskoye Highway (building 33, blocks 4 and 5). These are 16-story buildings, constructed in 1990 and 1992 according to a standard series design. They have simple facade plasticity without decorative elements. An integrated attached room adjoins the building constructed in 1990.
Fiber cement panels are used to renovate the buildings. Specialists have already cleared and washed the walls, repaired the panel joints, and installed brackets. Currently, the houses are being insulated with mineral wool boards and window frames with fire stops are being installed. Guides are mounted over the insulation, onto which fiber cement panels of four colors are attached — these are shades of “red henna,” “oxide brick red,” “light gray fog,” and “signal white.”
The workers also renovate the entrance areas, replace windows in common areas, and repair the plinths and blind areas. Specialists install air conditioner brackets, and on the balconies they renew the slabs and paint the concrete screens. Additionally, they repair roofs and basements, replace central heating mains, sewage, and cold and hot water supply lines.
