The preparation for the strategic session on automation and robotics, which will take place at the State University of Management on September 28, was discussed by Rector Vladimir Stroev, Managing Director for Science and Business Cooperation of State Corporation “Rostec” Elena Druzhinina, and the “RT-Techpriemka” team.
The organizers agreed that for successful dialogue building between industry and science, it is important to focus on finding practical solutions that help enterprises implement technologies, increase productivity, and train specialists for new production processes.
“The modern world requires a specialist not only to possess professional skills but also GUU has spent the majority of its century-old history training precisely management engineers, combining scientific achievements, management skills, and unique competencies necessary in industry. We have something to offer the scientific and business communities, and we are open to cooperation and joint work,” said Vladimir Stroev.
“Industries need not only engineers and operators of robotic complexes. Leaders who are capable of planning technological changes, assessing their economic impact, and helping teams to master new ways of working are also important. Here, the competencies of the State University of Management in management and personnel training and the experience of RT-Techpriemka of the Rostec State Corporation in the industrial field can be combined. Joint work will allow automation to be discussed not as a separate equipment procurement, but as part of enterprise development,” noted Elena Druzhinina.
The session was initiated by the State University of Management and RT-Techpriemka. The organizers are Rostec with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
