On Thursday, September 24, a labor collective conference was held at PJSC “KAMAZ” to review the fulfillment of the Collective Agreement obligations for the first half of 2026.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy General Director of PJSC “KAMAZ” – Executive Director Irek Gumerov, the company’s Deputy General Director for Personnel Management, Organizational Development and Corporate Governance Zhanna Khaliullina, the Chairman of the Auto Giant’s Trade Union Committee Ildar Shamilov, and representatives of the company’s factories and departments.
The results of fulfilling the obligations under the Collective Agreement for the first half of 2026 were reported by Zhanna Khaliullina, Deputy General Director of PJSC KAMAZ for Personnel Management, Organizational Development and Corporate Governance, and Ilshat Adiyatullin, Deputy Chairman of the automaker’s trade union committee.
As Zhanna Khaliullina noted, “KAMAZ continues to operate under ongoing external pressures and an unstable market environment. Despite restrictive factors, the company is strengthening its positions. Thus, in the overall truck market, the share of PJSC KAMAZ grew by 6% compared to the same period last year – both due to the classic K3 generation in the commercial segment and the new K5 generation.”
The company’s key asset remains its personnel. “Even in a falling market and the need to optimize costs, funding for social benefits for the first half of this year has been maintained at a steady level. Our absolute priority is the health improvement of personnel and full coverage of all basic social needs of employees. The company’s social policy remains reliable, balanced, and employee-oriented.”, – reported Zhanna Khaliullina. Thus, based on the results of the first 6 months of 2026, social security expenses amounted to 1,035 million rubles. All basic items have been preserved – meal compensation, travel compensation to and from the workplace, pension program, housing, vouchers to children’s camps, support for young workers and dynasties.
The key event of the year is the completion of construction and handover of two more rental buildings with 358 apartments. It is important to note that one of these facilities is organized in the format of a modern dormitory, designed for 230 places, which is especially relevant for attracting young specialists and skilled workers. “We promptly put the new housing into operation: the houses are fully furnished, and currently the occupancy rate is 97%. This indicates high demand and a correct placement strategy. As of today, Kamaz manages six rental houses, totaling 1023 apartments. This is a significant volume of residential stock, allowing us to effectively address staffing issues.”, – reported Zhanna Khaliullina.
In his report on the activities of the United Primary Trade Union Organization of PJSC KAMAZ, Ilshat Adiyatullin spoke about the work carried out in 2026 in the field of occupational safety at the enterprise, the trade union’s human rights activities, training and advanced training of trade union activists, organization of cultural, mass, and sports events, etc. It was noted that currently the structure includes 58 primary trade union organizations, while the trade union of the auto giant unites about 40 thousand people.
Summing up the conference, First Deputy General Director of PJSC “KAMAZ” – Executive Director Irek Gumerov he emphasized that the company continues to operate in challenging conditions and successfully meets the assigned tasks. First and foremost, he thanked the team for fulfilling the government order, noting that this is the primary task under current conditions, and it is being completed without complaints and on time. “The complex market situation requires us to solve complex problems. Despite the difficult conditions, we must master new equipment, reduce costs, be more efficient, increase labor productivity, and improve quality. This year is notable because we will master almost the entire K5 model range that we have created. This is an incredibly complex task even in ordinary circumstances. But we are accomplishing it, and day by day, step by step, we are mastering the models. By next year, we will approach with practically the full range of K5 vehicles,” – emphasized Irek Gumerov, also noting the successful results of the Kamaz team in other projects.
The executive director urged the team to continue following the path of continuous improvements, to keep developing the Production System, and to involve new team members in this philosophy. “KAMAZ” has overcome previous crises, we did not bend, moved forward and solved the tasks set, so that our new products would traverse the expanses of our country for the benefit of Russia, “KAMAZ” and our workers. Success to everyone! – concluded the leader, thanking the team for their work.
Also, as part of the event, awards were presented to Kamaz employees — laureates of the Electronic Honour Board of the Republic of Tatarstan.
