“A large-scale elevator upgrade program was developed and approved by order of Sergey Sobyanin, and during its implementation, more than 55 thousand elevators were replaced in residential buildings. This year, we will install a total of over 5,500 elevators, of which about four thousand have already been mounted,” noted Petr Biryukov.

Within the framework of the capital repair program, specialists dismantle old equipment and install new elevators. If there are several elevators in the entrance, they are replaced one at a time so that residents do not experience inconvenience. Modern domestic elevators are installed in the buildings, which in their characteristics fully comply with all safety and comfort requirements.
Compliance with elevator service life deadlines is under special supervision because this equipment is of increased danger and requires regular technical condition inspections and timely replacement.
