On Sunday, September 27, the Moscow Marathon will take place in the city center. Traffic will be temporarily closed on more than 60 streets and embankments.

Traffic through University Square near the parking bay at the intersection with Kosygin Street will be restricted from 00:01 on September 25 until 16:00 on September 27.

On the day of the event, September 27, from 00:01 to 13:00 it will be impossible to drive along Kosygina Street from Vernadsky Avenue to University Square in both directions, and from 03:00 to 12:00 along Vorobyovskaya Embankment from Luzhniki Bridge to Vorobyovskoye Highway.

Main closures will begin at 08:00. Thus, until 12:00, the following will be unavailable for transport: Kosygin Street from University Square to Vorobyovy Highway, and Vorobyovsky Highway from Kosygin Street to Berezhkovsky Bridge; until 12:20 — Berezhkovskaya Embankment from Berezhkovsky Bridge to Borodinsky Bridge, the side driveway of Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street from Berezhkovskaya Embankment to Borodinsky Bridge, as well as Borodinsky Bridge towards the region from Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street to Smolenskaya Street, and Smolenskaya Street from Smolenskaya Square to Borodinsky Bridge.

Until 12:45, it will be temporarily impossible to pass through Smolenskaya Square from Novinsky Boulevard to Smolensky Boulevard, along Novinsky Boulevard from Smolenskaya Street to Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Street, along Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Street from Novinsky Boulevard to Bolshaya Sadovaya Street, along Bolshaya Sadovaya Street from Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Street to Mayakovsky Tunnel, and in Mayakovsky Tunnel from Bolshaya Sadovaya Street to Sadovaya-Triumfalnaya.

Until 1:00 PM, the section of Sadovaya-Triumphalnaya Street from the Mayakovsky Tunnel to Sadovaya-Karetnaya Street, as well as the section of Sadovaya-Karetnaya Street from Sadovaya-Triumphalnaya to Karetny Ryad Street, will be closed.

From 08:30 to 13:20, traffic will be restricted on Tverskoy Boulevard from Tverskaya Street to Malaya Nikitskaya Street, until 13:40 — on Tverskaya Street from 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street to Tverskoy Boulevard, as well as from Tverskoy Boulevard to Mokhovaya Street, in Bolshoy Putinkovsky Lane from Strastnoy Boulevard to Tverskaya Street, on Strastnoy Boulevard from Petrovskie Vorota Square to Bolshoy Putinkovsky Lane, and on Petrovsky Boulevard from Trubnaya Square to Petrovskie Vorota Square.

Until 2:00 PM, it will be impossible to drive along Tsvetnoy Boulevard from Trubnaya Square to Sadovaya-Samotechnaya Street, as well as until 2:10 PM along Rozhdestvensky Boulevard from Tsvetnoy to Sretensky Boulevard.

Until 14:15, traffic will be closed on Sretensky Boulevard from Rozhdestvensky to Chistoprudny Boulevard and on Chistoprudny Boulevard from Sretensky to Pokrovsky Boulevard; until 14:20 — on Pokrovsky Boulevard from Chistoprudny to Yauzsky Boulevard and on Yauzsky from Pokrovsky Boulevard to Yauzskaya Street.

Until 14:45, movement will be temporarily restricted on Serebryanicheskaya Embankment from Yauzskaya Street to Poluyaroslavskaya Embankment, on Poluyaroslavskaya Embankment from Serebryanicheskaya to Kostomarovskaya Embankment, on Kostomarovskaya Embankment from Poluyaroslavskaya Embankment to Kostomarovsky Lane, in Kostomarovsky Lane from Kostomarovskaya Embankment to Kostomarovsky Bridge, and on Kostomarovsky Bridge from building 10, structure 1 in Kostomarovsky Lane to building 57, structure 8 on Nikoloyamskaya Street.

Road closures in Moscow from September 25 to 27: traffic on several streets and embankments will be temporarily restricted

Until 15:00, transport will not be able to pass along Nikoloyamskaya Embankment from Kostomarovsky Bridge to Bernikovskaya Embankment, along Bernikovskaya Embankment from Nikoloyamskaya to Podgorskaya Embankment, along Podgorskaya Embankment from Bernikovskaya to Kotelnicheskaya Embankment, along Kotelnicheskaya Embankment from Maly Ustinsky Bridge to Goncharnaya Embankment, and along Goncharnaya Embankment from Kotelnicheskaya Embankment to Goncharny Drive.

Until 15:40, traffic will be closed on the Kremlin Embankment from the Moskvoretskaya Embankment to the exit to Borovitskaya Square, and until 15:45 — on the Maly Ustinsky Bridge from Moskvoretskaya to Kotelnicheskaya Embankment, on Moskvoretskaya Embankment from Maly Ustinsky Bridge to Kremlin Embankment, and on Yauzskaya Street from Yauzsky Boulevard to Astakhovsky Bridge.

Until 15:50, it will be impossible to drive along Ustinskaya Embankment from the Small Ustinsky Bridge to Yauzskaya Street, as well as along the section of Ustinsky Drive from Yauzskaya Street to the Big Ustinsky Bridge.

The Bolshoy Ustinsky Bridge (including side roads) from Ustinsky Proezd to Sadovnicheskaya Proezd will be closed to traffic until 16:00.

Until 16:05, Sadovnicheskaya Drive will be closed from the Bolshoy Ustinsky Bridge to Sadovnicheskaya Street, Raushskaya Embankment from Sadovnicheskaya Street to Balchug Street, Balchug Street from Raushskaya Embankment to Lubochny Lane, Lubochny Lane from Balchug Street to the Small Moskvoretsky Bridge, and the Small Moskvoretsky Bridge from Lubochny Lane to Bolshaya Ordynka Street.

Until 16:30, the following streets will be inaccessible to vehicles: Bolshaya Ordynka Street from the Maly Moskvoretsky Bridge to Zhitnaya Street, Zhitnaya Street from Bolshaya Ordynka Street to the Oktyabrsky Tunnel, the Oktyabrsky Tunnel from Zhitnaya Street to Krymsky Val Street, and Krymsky Val Street from the Oktyabrsky Tunnel to the Krymsky Bridge.

Until 16:40, the passage on the Crimean Bridge from Krymsky Val Street to Zubovsky Boulevard and on Zubovsky Boulevard from the Crimean Bridge to Smolensky Boulevard will be closed; until 16:50 — on Smolensky Boulevard from Zubovsky Boulevard to Smolenskaya Square; and until 16:55 — on Smolenskaya Street heading towards the center from Smolenskaya Embankment to Smolenskaya Square.

Traffic restrictions will continue until 5:00 PM on Rostov Embankment from Smolenskaya Street to Savvinskaya Embankment, and until 5:15 PM on Savvinskaya Embankment from Rostov to Novodevichy Embankment.

Until 17:30, it will be impossible to drive along Novodevichya Embankment from Savvinskaya to Luzhnetskaya Embankment, along Khamovnichesky Val Street from Novodevichya Embankment to Luzhnetsky Drive, along Luzhnetskaya Embankment from Novodevichya Embankment to Luzhniki Street, and along Luzhniki Street from Luzhnetskaya Embankment to building 24, structure 23 on Luzhniki Street.

In addition, in sections where traffic is blocked, parking will be prohibited from 00:01 on September 27 until the end of the event.
