On April 11, 2026, at the Saint Petersburg State Architectural and Construction University, there wasAll-Russian Conference of Research and Project Works of Students ‘Youth. Science. Culture – North’. The event was organized with the participation of the regional branch of the All-Russian public organization“Small Academy of Sciences ‘Intellect of the Future'”.
The conference united schoolchildren from various regions of Russia, who presented the results of their scientific research and project activities. The event became a continuation of the cooperation between SPbGASU and the Small Academy of Sciences “Intellect of the Future,” which has been successfully developing since 2022, including within the frameworkcareer guidance program SPBGASU “Become a student in one day”.
The solemn opening of the conference took place in the university auditorium. Within the framework of the business program, participants worked in ten thematic sections, covering a wide range of scientific fields: from programming, robotics, physics and astronomy to biology, medicine, ecology, chemistry, history, culturology, linguistics, as well as pedagogy and psychology.
More than 130 research and design works were presented at the sectional meetings. An expert assessment of the projects was carried out by a representative council, which included leading scientists and university lecturers.Saint Petersburg, including representatives of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A. I. Herzen, Saint Petersburg State University, Saint Petersburg State Chemical-Pharmaceutical University, Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University of Peter the Greatand other educational and scientific organizations.
After the project defenses, the results of the section work were summed up. A methodological seminar was organized for teachers, aimed at exchanging experience in the field of supporting students’ research activities.
In addition to the scientific program, participants were offered cultural and educational events: a tour of the scientific and technical library of SPbGASU, a master class “Colors of Spring,” as well as an intellectual game — a quiz dedicated to the Day of National Unity.
The conference “Youth. Science. Culture – North” is aimed at developing the intellectual and creative potential of young people, supporting research activity among schoolchildren, and professional orientation. The participation of SPbGASU in organizing the event contributes to attracting talented applicants and strengthening the interaction of the university with educational institutions in the regions of Russia.
The organizers expressed confidence that holding the conference will become an important stage in the further development of cooperation and will contribute to the involvement of high school students in the scientific and educational environment of the university.
