Beijing, September 20 /Xinhua/ — Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress /NPC Standing Committee/, held a meeting on Sunday in Beijing with Ahmad Muazani, Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly /bicameral parliament, PCA/ of Indonesia.

Zhao Leji stated China’s readiness to jointly follow the strategic guidance of the two heads of state together with Indonesia and to promote continuous progress in bilateral friendship.

According to him, the NPC intends to maintain close contacts with the CPPCC, expand cooperation and exchanges, deepen the exchange of experience in the field of public administration, in order to serve the development and rise of each of the two countries more effectively.
