The winners and prize-winners of the championship final were congratulated by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

“The High Technology Championship is a platform where advanced solutions for the economy of the future are born, and young people demonstrate their readiness to contribute to Russia’s achievement of technological leadership. This goal was set for the country by President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. As a result of the competition, 20 college and technical school students became winners in the main category, and another 40 were prize-winners. In total, participants received 125 medals in the main, individual, and international categories. Congratulations to the young people and their mentors! Never be afraid of difficult tasks, believe in your abilities, and boldly bring your ideas to life,” said Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov addressed all participants of the final with warm words of encouragement from the stage on the Sofiyskaya Embankment of Veliky Novgorod.

“The fourth high-tech championship is already taking place in Veliky Novgorod. I want to extend special thanks to Aleksandr Valentinovich Dronov, the governor of Novgorod Oblast, and the entire team who worked so that each year the championship becomes increasingly large-scale. This year, we are holding the competition together with the Ministry of Transport in 20 promising specialties that are actively developing in the transport sector. Today, enterprises need such purposeful young people like you. Congratulations to the finalists, winners, and your mentors. You are the ones who represent the future of the transport industry,” noted Sergey Kravtsov.

The head of the Ministry of Education thanked the expert mentors who provide a launchpad for new generations of professionals and expressed gratitude to partner companies for their contribution to the development of the “Professionals” movement and the entire system of secondary vocational education.

More than 300 enterprises from the real sector of the economy served as industrial partners of the final of the 2026 high-tech championship. Among them are PJSC Sberbank, JSC Russian Railways, JSC GC “Natsproektstroy”, PJSC Yakovlev, GC “Silent Wings”, LLC VSM-Service, the Moskvich factory, and others. The innovative competencies of the high-tech championship were developed jointly with the Ministry of Transport. They are aimed at the development of the transport sector and address the objectives of implementing the national projects “Industrial Support for Transport Mobility,” “Efficient Transport System,” and “Infrastructure for Life.”

First Deputy Minister of Transport Konstantin Pashkov stated that the championship platform became a unique opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and skills, craftsmanship, and the ability to work in a team. “For the first time, the championship is entirely dedicated to the transport industry. The geography of participants has expanded. Competitors from 30 countries arrived. The 20 innovative competencies on which the competitions were held cover the entire range of modern transport specialties and reflect the needs of the digital economy and high-tech manufacturing. This once again proves how closely high technologies and the development of the transport complex are connected today,” he added.

The participants of the high-tech championship final were welcomed by Alexander Dronov, the governor of Novgorod Region.

“Today, as our country reaches a new level of technological development, it is especially important to train modern professionals. The High Technology Championship has proven that we have such people — that’s you! This time, the competition was dedicated to the transport industry. That means you will be developing roads, bridges, maritime and space projects, building the future of Russia. You are our pride! May the championship be the start of a successful journey in your life,” said Alexander Dronov.
