Those who registered in the electronic voting system do not need to visit a polling station. The Prime Minister made his choice from his office in the Government House.
“Participation in the voting is important for everyone who cares about the future of Russia, its successful development, and the well-being of children and loved ones,” noted Mikhail Mishustin.
According to him, the main thing is to responsibly approach the exercise of voting rights by choosing those who will defend people’s interests and work in government bodies both locally and in the State Duma of the new, ninth convocation.
The Chairman of the Government called on all citizens of Russia to participate in the voting.
From September 18 to 20, in addition to the elections for deputies of the State Duma, direct elections for the highest officials are being held in eight regions of the country – Mordovia, Tuva, Chechnya, Belgorod, Bryansk, Penza, Tver, and Ulyanovsk oblasts. In three republics, the heads are elected by deputies of the regional parliaments – in Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia, and North Ossetia. Elections for regional deputies will be held in 39 subjects.
