Technical preparation of the electronic voting system for the elections, which will take place from September 18 to 20, has been completed in the capital. During the process, each vote cast online or via a terminal will be recorded on a blockchain — a continuous chain of data blocks that cannot be altered. The use of an anonymizer will make each vote permanently anonymous. Moreover, before the voting results are tallied and a special decryption key is applied to the blockchain data, it will be impossible to find out who cast a particular vote. This key is used only after the final electronic votes have entered the system.
