Regulator begins to publish data on small and medium-sized businesses that receive financing by issuing shares on investment platforms. This will allow for a higher-quality assessment of the dynamics of the crowdfunding market and its development prospects. Such information will be released quarterly.
In the first half of 2026, the number of issuers decreased by 9% compared to the same period last year, with 61 companies entering the equity capital market. Entrepreneurs were able to attract 2.1 billion rubles in investments, which is 45% less than a year earlier. This accounts for 13% of the total funds raised by small and medium-sized business entities on investment platforms.
Most often, shares were issued by companies from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai, and Smolensk Oblast. More than half of the investment volume was accounted for by issuers from the information technology and computer services sectors.
