For more than a century, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service has been countering infectious threats, reliably protecting Russians from dangerous diseases, and shaping a culture of healthy living for all generations.
Rospotrebnadzor is one of the most advanced agencies where extensive scientific experience is successfully combined with innovation. The use of the latest digital and genetic technologies, the development of tests and vaccines, infrastructure development, as well as active international cooperation, make it possible to ensure the country’s biological safety.
Today, unique service experience is in demand not only in Russia but also abroad. Mobile Russian laboratories operate in 20 countries, domestic test systems and equipment help carry out effective diagnostics. Importantly, you respond promptly to the emergence of infections anywhere on the planet. An example is the elimination this year of an outbreak of a new strain of the Ebola virus in Uganda, the containment of a disease of unknown etiology in Burundi, as well as providing extensive practical assistance in ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being in Venezuela.
