“As President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin noted, it is important that the SPO system is effective and oriented towards achieving national development goals, and that educational programs fully meet the needs of the real economic sector. The federal project ‘Professionalism’ of the national project ‘Youth and Children’ continues to actively develop. In September of this year, 95 new clusters will open, and there are already 601 almost all over the country.”On the unified open day, students and their parents will be able to choose the desired profession and determine for themselves the prospects for further employment at our enterprises.,– noted Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Today, the “Professionalism” project unites 1,730 colleges and technical schools in 86 regions of Russia. More than 2 million students are enrolled. Over 3,000 employer companies are involved in personnel training.
Within the framework of the single open day in the educational organization, more than 2.5 thousand parent meetings are planned. The participation of regional executive authorities’ leaders, as well as representatives of the largest regional companies, will be involved. The meeting will discuss promising directions for training under the “Professionalism” programs, and will also give advice on admission and targeted training.
For schoolchildren, more than 3.5 thousand excursions to employer enterprises are organized. More than 13 thousand professional trials will take place at technical schools and colleges so that future students can try on various professions themselves.
“Convinced: to make the right career choice, you need to get in touch with the profession live. This is exactly the opportunity provided by the unified open day at the ‘Professionalism’ college. We invite schoolchildren and their parents to see with their own eyes modern workshops, talk to teachers, and most importantly, meet representatives of companies-employers. Such meetings inspire and help young people make a conscious choice in favor of an interesting and in-demand profession.”– said Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.
In tens of thousands of schools, more than 8.4 thousand class hours will be held under the name “Professionalism: you are in a great company!”. Ambassadors of the project – college students who will share their experience and talk about the prospects and advantages of studying at the “Professionalism” college – will speak at the lessons. They will tell the kids about the benefits of education through practice-oriented educational programs, internships and employment, about support measures from employers and regional executive authorities.
High school students will also get acquainted with career maps of specialties – a tool that allows studying career development opportunities, as well as learning about support measures available in the region.
