In the Heraldic Hall of the Museum of Moscow, subordinate to the capital Department of Culture, the Moscow Heraldic Forum will be held on September 17 and 18. As is tradition, certificates of registration of official symbols in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation and the Heraldic Register of Moscow will be presented there.
As part of the forum, on September 18 and 19 at 7:00 PM at the Museum of Moscow, the Moscow Heraldic Council will present the project “Moscow Heraldic Theater,” which will open with a premiere performance “Prayer Before the Battle”. At the core of the production is the image of Saint George the Victorious, a symbol of generational continuity. The performance will also introduce the modern symbolism of the capital. The idea’s author and project leader is Oleg Kuznetsov, the heraldmeister of the city of Moscow.

Here, projects of the capital’s Heraldic Council, exhibitions, and excursions, where you can learn the history of the official symbols of the capital and see what the city’s coat of arms looked like in different historical periods. Visitors will be told about the official symbols of Moscow and the municipal formations that exist today.
