Recently, while participating in the HICOOL 2026 Beijing Global Entrepreneurs Summit, the well-known venture capitalist from Silicon Valley Bill Reichert shared his observations about the Chinese startup ecosystem in an interview with the “Huanqiuwan” website.

Among the advantages, he included comprehensive support from the government, investors, universities, and business incubators, as well as a huge domestic market. At the same time, he pointed out that for many Chinese startups the most difficult challenge remains expanding beyond the local market and achieving globalization.
