In the Ostankino estate After the restoration, the Italian Pavilion opened. It housed much of Count Nikolai Sheremetev’s sculpture collection. Sergey Sobyanin spoke about this on his channel on the messenger “Max”.

Specialists restored the original interiors: the only surviving wallpaper from the 1790s in Russia, gilded carvings, stucco, and papier-mâché decor, as well as fabrics, columns, pilasters, mirrors, fireplaces, and stoves. The work also affected all the pavilion’s structures: the foundation, walls, and roof. Additionally, the specialists repaired the historic facade finishes, windows, and doors with original fittings.
